Popeye pigs
Pigs implanted with spinach genes are all the rage in Japanese laboratories. Why would anybody want to do this to a poor pig? The pigs contain a gene called FAD2 which convert saturated fats (bad fats) into an unsaturated fat (good fat) called linoleic acid.
These genetically modified pigs therefore contain 20% less bad fat than a normal pig, making them healthier to eat.
We say: Eat less and eat healthy. Leave the pigs alone!
