Hayley

Hayley Minter-Brown (Mathematician)

Forward thinking Hayley combined her love for sports with her passion for science in the 2006 KZN Science Expo. She researched the effect of tyre pressure in a bicycle on the amount of calories burned. This year she is looking at which sporting activity consumes the most calories. Very interesting.

When she is not inventing experiments about sport, she enjoys practising it and has achieved colours in both hockey and tennis. She‘s also got a keen ear for music and practices the piano, saxophone and the clarinet!
