Hi guys

Sorry – it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything! School has been SO hectic. My teachers have been going for the new FET Gr12 Curriculum workshops but ‘eish!’ they’ve left more work for us than we would do even if they were here!!!

Anyways, so last week Ashleigh, Jess, Erin and I stayed at Kate’s house in Kloof and went for a Maths and Science Symposium in Umlazi. We had to present a sort of “show” to the learners (7500 per DAY!!!) and we had quite a blast doing so. Erin basically interviewed us; we showed them some clips about HIP2B² and gave them some awesome prizes – for more information watch HIP2B² every Monday, 16:30pm!

Kate’s mum, dad and gran are so awesome! Mommy Sue is so sweet, Daddy Richard is absolutely funny and Gran is definitely the best baker this side of SA!!! Her chocolate brownies and choc-mint pudding were divine.

On Wednesday, after the show we went back to Kate’s house and watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai! I was thrilled that the girls enjoyed it because I’m a huge Bollywood fan and I now look at Erin in a new light because she was so clued-up about it. We also had a braai and Tegan and Hayley came over for a bit. With Valentine’s Day being on Thursday and all, I have to say the most romantic bit of the mid-week-weekend was definitely Erin’s new bling. Don’t wanna say too much – check Erin’s blog for the inside info…

Yeah, so now I’m back home. We went to Umhlanga beach on Saturday and we saw the most amazing fish. My bro stepped on this thing and it wriggled out from under his foot. It was pink and looked a bit like a sting ray or sand fish. It was so cool. Can you see it marked out in the pic? It was about to re-bury itself when my dad snapped this pic.

Til next time guys:

My personal motto: Reach for the moon – that way even if you fall, you’ll still be among the stars!

Thanx
