At 8 months old, baby Alia started reading - a skill usually picked up by children at the age of six to eight years. Her IQ has been determined as extremely high and she is considered a genius in most academic circles. After completing the 4th grade, she went on to study Applied Mathematics from Stony Brooks University. She completed the degree at age 14 and obtained an additional PhD and M.S in Material Science and Engineering from Drexel University.
Due to her versatile nature, she is also a concert clarinetist, making her debut at age 11 with the famous Mozart Clarinet Concerto! She has also made groundbreaking contributions to the world of medical research. She developed a nanotube-based cellular probe that measures the reaction of nano-materials that are injected into individual cells. Theoretically, she can help cure tumors that cause serious diseases like Cancer!
Alia Sabur is one of the world’s most inspirational women and she is certainly a very good role model for all aspiring prodigies and geniuses out there. She has really broken the stereotype of all scientists being nerds. Vivat Scientia!
