I’ve spent most of this week performing at our school’s Talent Showcase, doing the comedy scene I told you about, “Elementary Dating”. It was really fun to do, and everybody absolutely loved it!  My brother and I got tons of congratulations, and we’ve been invited to do it again at Sundowners, which is like a whole afternoon, with themed tables, lunch and various performances. It’s taking place in August, so that’ll be really fun!
Other acts in the Talent showcase included our teacher’s band, my old band, some hip hop dancers, called the Spacemen, who were totally incredible, and one of our matrics, Carmen Pretorius sang her rendition of “All That Jazz”, which was fantastic, especially since she has been to the World Championships, and won gold in a few categories!

The one downside of the whole thing was that I’ve had pretty late nights the whole week, so I’m exhausted! I’ve entitled this weekend “The Weekend of Sleep” and that’s exactly what I intend to do!
