Speculation is fun. Without it you wouldn’t get movies like Independence Day or tales about the Lochness Monster or the Abominable Snowman. So, let’s speculate about a few things we shun because of logic.
Auras - only the stuff kooky psychics with crystal balls rant about? In 1930, Harold Burr decided to set up a few experiments to find out…
These experiments demonstrated that all living things are surrounded by their own energy fields, which he called Life-fields (L-fields).
Burr left trees hooked up to L-field detectors for decades and was able to prove that changes in the environmental electromagnetic fields (caused by lunar cycles, sunspot activity and thunderstorms) affected the L-field. He could also pinpoint exactly where the nervous system of a frog will form by studying the L-field of the egg.
Ravitz, his student, continued his work with a focus on humans. He found emotions and outside stimuli both produced energy (indicated on the galvanometer) that influenced the L-field.
He also proved that the L-field as a whole disappears before physical death.
Hmmm…you decide.
