The BA weekend started really well with the flight to Cape Town leaving at 8:30am. Even though we had to be up really early, it was well worth it. The weather was beautiful, and the view as we flew into the Mother City was spectacular. We spent the rest of the day at the Mark Shuttleworth Foundation, meeting the other BAs and some of the heads at Hip2b². The foundation is amazing with a beautiful garden and pool.

We spent our night camping at the Helderberg Nature Reserve and went on a night walk where there were bugs galore! Some people went hiking but the rest of us were so tired that the insides of our eyelids seemed to be a much better view.

The other BAs have been really awesome (or should I say “ongelooflik” as Lizelle has been desperately trying to teach me) and I’ve had tons of fun with them, telling jokes, getting to know each other and learning.

There’s so much else to talk about, which I can’t tell you, ‘cos then the bosses won’t feed me. Just kidding! :-)

This weekend has been the most awesome eva!
