At first the thought daunted me, but on arrival in Cape Town we were treated like royalty and our fears were calmed. The BA weekend was an awesome weekend with some of the most fantastic people. All the mentors involved were inspirational and challenged us to be better than our best! The idea behind the weekend was to explain our projects and get us thinking…which it certainly managed to do.

The whole weekend was very memorable but I thought that the best part was the walks in the forest - the late night walk and the very early morning walk was amazing. We got to interact with the other ambassadors and spent lots of time together. We also got an opportunity to speak to our mentors and got lots of insight into the programme.

I really enjoyed the weekend and I'm looking forward to working with the other ambassadors next year. I'm also looking forward to all the challenges that face us.
