Hey all

You know when I first read the topic the first thing that popped into my head was a TV, an iPod and a hair straightener… ha-ha, but the more I thought about it I realized that one of the greatest inventions is the telephone as it is one of the most useful things in my life. I have a stepsister who lives in the States and it’s so hard to stay in contact with her. But because I have access to a telephone and a cell phone it makes it that much easier to communicate with her. If I were to imagine what it would be like for me if we didn’t have the ability to be able to call one another and talk how would we stay in contact? I know we could probably write letters to one another but how long would it take for that to get to her and from her back to me. Without the telephone it would be so difficult to communicate with one another and it has been one of the inventions that has had the greatest effect on the people all around the world. I only hope that there will be more wonderful inventions like this one.
