When you say favourite invention, lots of things comes to mind, the cell phone (MXit), computer, television, iPod. But the one thing that completely out rules all of the rest is the microwave. Since I’ve been around, it was just always there, and I can’t imagine my life without it. Whenever I just quickly need a warm snack, whether it is Milo, 2 Minute Noodles or last nights KFC, the microwave is always of great assistance.

My favourite one of my own inventions will be the can that can close. I sometimes have to spend an extra R1,50 just to get a 500ml bottle, because I’m afraid the can might spill. And the bees are also another problem and often miraculously find their way to the inside of your can, even though you’ve been watching your drink the entire time.

 In other news, life’s been going well. I’m playing my first rugby match next Tuesday, and I had a ball this weekend.
