As a result of the massive amounts of E-waste (waste from discarded technology and appliances, like computers, light bulbs, cellphones etc.) being produced in the world today, we have hoards of substances and chemicals lying exposed in places such as rubbish dumps. The chemicals from this waste are often absorbed into groundwater. We end up drinking this water, and there are many various side-effects. One of my aims is to prove that one of these side-effects is Alzheimer’s. After this has been proven or disproven, she will aim to find what substance will, when added to the toxic water, neutralize the various harmful elements in it.
