Wow, I’d love to go back to Jurassic Park days. Have no idea how many billions or trillions of years back that would be. Of course, this is assuming that I would be invisible and totally safe from hungry predators. I’d like to be an observer, and my time machine would also be invisible, and with lots of built-in comforts. So I’d be in the bush but certainly not roughing it!

I just think it would be an amazing experience to see the dinosaurs – are they as they appear in textbooks and museums? Were the jungles full of thick vines and huge foliage… dangerous creepy crawlies that make you appreciate the common cockroach?

And to give it some perspective I’d like to somehow go back so I could look at the same geographic area, for instance Durban, shifting continents aside. That way you’d really have an idea of how a planet evolves into a concrete jungle.
