A castle on a hill with the sun setting low over the snow-topped mountains…two lovers on the terrace overlooking a pond and a stunning garden with all its little secrets stretching for acres…stunning ball gowns that flow to the ground and glass slippers…dancing till the clock strike 12…now this is the land of my dreams!

You may think that, even with a time machine, one cannot visit a place as marvelous as this.  However, this is most probably the way royalty lived in the Victorian times.  I would love to go back to those days when there was little technology and communication was on a whole different level.  Letters and visits mean so much more than a mxit message or a quick, easy email.  Ladies were treated with such respect and got to wear long, elegant dresses everyday with helpers running around after them.  People went on long cruises to visit another country and there were balls and fancy dinners.  Royalty lived in complete luxury and didn’t have to worry about anything.

Technology these days makes it far too easy for things to get and perhaps ruining the experience of the actual task.  How exciting would it be to visit a land like the one mentioned above :-)
