Hi there guys!
Just as the term started, it seems like it has flown past in such a hurry and left me with the prospect of a relaxing and much-needed holiday! Yipee! I have been working hard on my project and trying to juggle sport and my studies at the same time.
I go away this coming week on Grade 11 camp (I hope it’s not bootcamp!) but then it is freedom and bliss for 21 days :-)
I have been helping out with the school’s interact team and I am planning on incorporating them into my Hip community project. I will also be starting to clock up my 200 hrs of community service, as I am contemplating becoming a doctor and I need the hours to be accepted to university. What can you do to help your community? Try getting a group of learners together to raise funds for a charity, or why not even host a interschool quiz show that not only teaches other learners about Hip Maths, Science and Tech but also raises money and your school’s profile. It all starts with the little changes…
Cheers and bon voyage
Ash
