That is what 16:36 on Tuesday the 29th of January was for me! As my mom stopped the car to pick me up from school, my leg decided to trip me up in front of the entire parking lot.
Naturally I went crashing into the dirt, my bag drank Red Bull and grew wings and my homework scattered, flying everywhere!
It was your classic Hollywood ‘Falling Nerd’ scene.

But the best embarrassing moment this week must be my mother’s one. When we were outside next to our banana trees, she heard this weird rattling noise form inside the trees, and being as curious as she is, went to go have a look - only to come screaming that it was a giant spider making that noise.
Of cause my father and I didn’t believe her, so we went to have a look but we couldn’t see any spider. In fact, we could hardly see anything at all. Then the noise started again and this time we had a closer look and we saw it. We saw my mother’s gigantic ‘spider’. It was a dragonfly trapped upside down and trying to get out (which is what made the rattling sound).

So my random tip for life this week is: Don’t sit on one leg for too long as it will die on (or under) you and make you have your very own classic Hollywood ‘Falling Nerd’ scene.  And don’t be afraid to look inside your banana trees (because you never know when you might find a gigantic Spigonder-fly).
