Woah, I didn’t know it was humanly possible to get so much homework in one week! I’ve spent the whole weekend buried in homework for every subject! I’ve been writing speeches, studying for speeches, and catching up work that I missed when I was sick as a dog on Wednesday.

We had our Annual school Prizegiving on Tuesday, and I was really happy because I got the subject prizes for English, History and Geography, and also the Top of the Grade award, tied with Ogo, who’s also a Brand Ambassador!  Then, Ogo, Ashleigh Waterson and I got special awards for becoming HIP2B² Ambassadors, so, all in all, it was a pretty awesome night! Of course, I spent the rest of the night puking my guts out, which, I can reassure you, was not a particularly wonderful experience, but apart from that…

Good news is that the comedy sketch that my brother and I auditioned for our school’s Talent Showcase got in, so now we’ll be doing that.

I just finished watching Shaun Pollock’s last game. It was really emotional, but a great way to finish a fantastic career! And it was also really touching to see how his team-mates supported him and cheered him on during and after the game. And incidentally, it was also great how we managed to totally thrash the poor West Indies team, by winning the ODI series alone, 5-0. It must’ve been pretty embarrassing for them!

Well, that’s all my news for this week, gotta go, Biology calls…
