Hey guys

Just before I went away I was given the awesome opportunity to go on SAFM with Kate, Megan and Ogo on the afternoon show. It was the most interesting and dazzling experience! Just as we arrived at SABC studios we were told that we could go on the Isidingo set and see how the cast and crew make their magic. We were able to walk around the actual sets (like the bar, TV workplace, Rijesh’s house and the hotel. We were even allowed in the famous Isidingo lift – how totally cool!) We were then whisked off to the radio section where we were live on radio. Although the questions were daunting, we all pulled through and did great. I cannot believe how well we have been treated as BA’s – I still pinched myself when I was on SABC 1 and 2! I think that there is a great lesson to be learned through my experience – that by focussing on your school work and enriching your mind so many doors will open in your life. So I am encouraging you guys to work hard this year and reap the benefits!
