HIP: What were your first feelings?
Dirk: I was very anxious at first and I really didn’t know what to expect, but the friendly staff and the casual working enviroment was very comforting.

HIP: What did you enjoy the most?
Dirk: Doing research and attending an animated boardmeeting!

HIP: You’re in grade 11. What’s your career of choice? Why?
Dirk: IT engineer and technician.  I am adept at IT and I have a passion for computers and electronics.

HIP: If you were a politician, what would you change first?
Dirk: I would make listening to music for two hours each day mandatory for all students.

HIP: Favourite inventor?
Dirk: It would have to be Ernő Rubik for the Rubiks Cube which I still can’t solve!
