My role at HIP2B2 Online Radio:
I’m responsible for production, broadcast and all this technical.
In essence production is responsible for the “Sound of the station, I also like to call it the, Texture or Feel” of the station.
In practical terms productions means: Recording and editing of all the programs, promos and one of my favorite responsibilities is creating radio stings.
The rest of my responsibilities are to schedule all the songs and inserts on the “playout system” and linking the studio to the broadcast servers and the broadcast servers to the different mobile and online players.
If anything breaks, I’m also the guy with the toolbox.
P.S. At night I also watch over the city as a masked-superhero.
How I got here:
I’ve been playing, experimenting and working with recording equipment since I was 9 years old.
My career always centered around creative media technology, education and youth mentoring.
During the past seven years I’ve designed and built a range of studios and developed several broadcast and podcast divisions for companies.
Though I loved the job, I always had a dream to create an independent broadcast channel that would be: light hearted, entertaining yet informative, based on good moral values.
So HIP2B2 Radio tied in perfectly with my dream.
